Prabhas
Prabhas (born Prabhas Raju Uppalapati) is anIndian film actor known for his works in Telugu cinema.[1] Prabhas is the nephew of veteran Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju.[2] Prabhas made his film debut with the 2002 drama film,Eshwar. His works include Varsham (2004),Chatrapathi (2005), Chakram (2005), Billa (2009),Mr. Perfect (2011), and Mirchi (2013).[3] In 2014 he appeared in the Bollywood film Action Jacksondirected by Prabhudeva.
In 2015 he starred in the epic Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), which is the third Global highest grossing Indian film of all time, and the highest grossing Indian film of all time within India.[4][5][6][7][8] The film was screened at the Open Cinema Strand of Busan International Film Festival,Indian Film Festival The Hague,[9] Sitges Film Festival in Spain,[10] Utopiales Film Festival in France,[11] Golden Horse Film Festival in Taipei,Taiwan,[12] Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival inEstonia,[13] L'Etrange International Film Festival inParis,[14] Five Flavours Film Festival in Poland[15]and Hawaii International Film Festival inHonolulu.[16]
